Experience includes 10 years of working in the mental health, addiction and homeless fields with people from different social, economic and cultural backgrounds in various settings, e.g. police cells, psychiatric wards, community services, their homes. Have conducted academic psychological research on attitudes, behavior, culture and personality.
Qualifications include a Masters of Science degree in Psychology, an University Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Skills and Studies and training in other therapeutic interventions, e.g. Motivational Interviewing.
Professional Membership: Member of Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) up until April 2018 when I resigned my membership after the PSI publicly supported a Yes vote in the abortion Referendum
Hobbies/Interests: Running, basketball, reading (especially history and philosophy)
